## **Who I am**

* Carlo. American, spent most of my life in the US, Filipino heritage, now based in Bangkok with frequent travel across the Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam.  
* Chief AI Officer and Co-Founder, Boost Capital Technology Inc. We build AI document intelligence and fraud detection (VerifyIQ) for Philippine and Cambodian financial institutions.  
* Also run AIFirst, a corporate AI training and workshop brand.

Major AI industry reports and indexes when released (Stanford AI Index, State of AI, McKinsey, OECD, ILO and similar) rank high. Workforce and labor-market trends in each of my coverage countries, especially AI-driven shifts.  
4. **Geopolitics**: between and within my perspective countries, weighted toward anything touching SEA, trade, or sanctions.  
5. **Major global headlines**: catch-all for things any informed person should know today. **Internet shutdowns, censorship escalations, and connectivity blackouts anywhere in the world are always top-priority for me — surface them even from a single outlet, even outside my coverage countries.**
